Alla Novikova – Owner/Dance Instructor

Alla Novikova was born and raised in Saratov, Russia.  Upon an invitation to a ballroom dance studio at the age of 9, she started taking lessons and quickly realized she could not imagine her live without dance. Within 2 years Alla became a prize winner of many regional and national competitions in Russia including the most prominent International dance competition in Moscow.  In a very short period of time Alla was recognized as one of the leading female dancers in her region.

Alla was only 13 when she began her teaching career.  Among competing and teaching she also studied ballet and folkloric dancing at the College of Ballet in Saratov.  At 20 she was the youngest person in the region to receive her adjudicators License, which qualified her to become a judge at competitions.  Many of her young students became regional and national champions.

In 2006 Alla married the love of her life, long time colleague and dance partner Alex Novikov.  Together they came to America and decided to settle down in California.  In 2007 the newlyweds welcomed the first addition to their family, their baby boy Daniel.  One year later they decided to continue competing together professionally in the US and were achieving high ranks as International Standard Professional Rising Star champions.  In 2009, Alla was delighted to be invited to be a part of the TV show “Paris by Night”, a Vietnamese version of Dancing with the Stars.

Alla continues to enjoy teaching and competing Pro/Am with her students, as well as compete professionally with her husband, and was recognized as one of the Top Female Teachers in various competitions including Embassy ball and California Star Ball.  She absolutely loves her job and feels so fortunate that her favorite hobby became her career.  With Alla you can expect lessons filled with energy and fun!
